The Duchess of Edinburgh has become the new Patron for the Yellow Labrador Club, a role that was previously held by Queen Elizabeth II and King George VI.
Founded in 1924, the Club encourages the breeding of pure Yellow Labrador Retrievers to conserve the best type of working dog; to encourage Field Trials; and to ensure having qualified judges at shows.
The Duchess visited the Club on Tuesday, where she joined members and guests for afternoon tea and a Field Trial demonstration in Windsor Great Park.
Her Royal Highness continues a proud tradition of Royal patronage, succeeding The late Queen Elizabeth II, who was Patron from 1953 to 2022.
