The Princess Royal visits Malaysia and Singapore

The Princess Royal makes an official visit to Malaysia and Singapore.

In Kuala Lumpar, The Princess visited local businesses in her role as President of Emerging Leaders' Dialogue, Asia. The Emerging Leaders' Dialogue is network of leaders in Business, Labour, Government, and Civil Society who are passionate about developing the capability of future leaders in communities and countries across the Commonwealth.
The Princess then visited the Kranji Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery in Singapore, where she laid a wreath and met representatives from the Singapore Armed Forces Veterans League.


The Duke of Kent is President of the Commission and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Princess Royal's husband, is Vice-Chairman.

The Princess, President of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, visited innovative farms in Singapore such as Sky Greens which is the world’s first low carbon, hydraulic driven vertical farm.
Her Royal Highness also attended the 27th Commonwealth Agriculture Conference with Baroness Scotland, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, during hervisit.
