The Countess of Wessex visited Bearwood Primary School in Wokingham to opens its new Foundation Stage Outdoor Environment.

Whilst there The Countess enjoyed a delightful Mother's Day performance by a group of students from Foundation Stage and listened to the School Choir's rendition from a recent performance at the O2.

Her Royal Highness met students, staff and guests of Bearwood Primary School, before unveiling a plaque in front of the whole school.

This is the first Royal visit that Bearwood has ever had, and this is a little part of history that we will all remember. It has been a truly special day and a once in lifetime experience for everybody involved

Mrs Jane Barlow, Headteacher

At the end of the visit The Countess was presented with flowers by the oldest girl pupil, Madison Amor, aged 11, and the youngest boy pupil, Oscar Jones, aged 4.
