Earlier this week The Countess of Wessex, in her role as Patron, visited two of the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London sites to showcase the courses from the School of Design & Technology.

Her Royal Highness visited students from the Fashion Design Technology course in their third year working on their final collections, and tailoring projects and also met first year students in a technical garment construction workshop.

The visit was captured by Emmi Hyyppa, a graduate from MA Fashion Photography and Hanna Puskaz, a third year student on BA (Hons) Fashion Photography.

At the Golden Lane site, The Countess watched first year students working on their accessories collections and was given a demonstration of machinery by Specialist Technician Jenny Parker before visiting students from MA Fashion Artefact and BA (Hons) Fashion Jewellery who showed their work using CAD/CAM technology and traditional casting and mould-making.
