    Windsor Castle

    The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Cambridge, this morning visited the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory Porton Down, Salisbury, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton) and the Chief Executive (Mr. Gary Aitkenhead).

    Her Majesty and His Royal Highness toured the facility, meeting members of staff and viewing demonstrations of the work carried out.

    The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, presented the Firmin Sword of Peace to Colonel Michael Duff, who received the Sword on behalf of Headquarters South West.

    Her Majesty, accompanied by His Royal Highness, subsequently officially opened the new Energetics Analysis Centre.

    Her Royal Highness this afternoon launched Crusader Community Boating's new passenger trip boat COMMUNITY SPIRIT at Blisworth Marina, Blisworth Arm, Blisworth, and was received by Mr. James Lowther (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire).
