    The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Nene Valley Railway, this morning travelled by steam train from Orton Mere Railway Station to Peterborough Nene Valley Railway Station to visit Railworld Wildlife Haven, Oundle Road, Peterborough, and was received by Mr. Benjamyn Damazer (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

    His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Floodex UK, East of England Arena and Events Centre, East of England Showground, Oundle Road, Alwalton, Peterborough, and was received by Mr. Richard Barnwell (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

    The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Faizan e Madina Mosque, 169-175 Gladstone Street, Peterborough, and was received by Dr. Jaspal Singh (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

    His Royal Highness later visited Gurdwara Baba Budha Sahib Ji, 23 Royce Road, Peterborough.

    The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, this evening attended a Reception at the Japan Society, 101-104 Piccadilly, London W1.

    Her Royal Highness, Member, International Olympic Committee, this afternoon received the Hon. Tumiso MacDonald Rakgare (Incoming Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development for Botswana) who was accompanied by the High Commissioner for the Republic of Botswana in London (His Excellency Dr. John Gosiamemang Ndebele Seakgosing), Colonel Botsang Tshenyego (President, Botswana National Olympic Committee) and Mr. Kago Sidney Ramokate (Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development for Botswana).

    Her Royal Highness, Patron, National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, later attended the film première of "Sulphur and White" at Curzon Mayfair, 38 Curzon Street, London W1.

    His Excellency General Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Angola to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Nunda was also received by Her Majesty.

    Her Excellency Ms. Gilda Velásquez-Paz was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of El Salvador to the Court of St. James's.

    Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

    The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Scotland, this afternoon received Major General Robert Bruce upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel of the Regiment and Major General Nicholas Borton upon assuming the appointment.
