    The Earl and Countess of Wessex today undertook engagements in Somerset.

    Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited the Vaccination Centre at the Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs. Richard Maw).

    The Earl of Wessex subsequently visited Somerset Community Foundation at the Bath and West Showground.

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon visited Elim Connect Centre, Portway, Wells, and were received by Rear Admiral Brian Perowne and Dr. Nicholas Hooper (Deputy Lieutenants of Somerset).

    Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited volunteers of Wells Coronavirus Network in St. Cuthbert's Churchyard, St. Cuthbert Street, Wells.

    The Earl and Countess of Wessex later walked up Wells High Street to Market Place, meeting local retailers en route.

    The Earl of Wessex afterwards visited Wells Cathedral.

    His Royal Highness subsequently visited the Bishop's Palace, Wells.

    The Countess of Wessex, Vice Patron, this morning visited the Royal Bath and West of England Society at the Bath and West Showground.

    Her Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited the Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust, Wells Cathedral.

    His Excellency Mr. Maxim Yermalovich was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Belarus to the Court of St. James's.

    His Excellency Mr. Karel van Oosterom was received in audience by Her Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. van Oosterom-Niessen was also received by The Queen.

    Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.
