    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended a Reception at Patti Pavilion, Swansea, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of Swansea's City status and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan (Mr. Byron Lewis).

    His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Morriston Tabernacle, Woodfield Street, Swansea.

    The Prince of Wales, Patron, afterwards visited the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Middleton Hall, Llanarthne, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (Miss Sara Edwards).

    His Royal Highness, Royal Founding Patron, later held a Reception for Prime Cymru.

    The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Carmarthen and District Youth Opera, this afternoon attended a Concert at the Lyric Theatre, Carmarthen, and was received by Lieutenant Colonel David Mathias (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed).

    Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Carmarthen Provision Market.

    The Rt. Hon. Kenneth Mackintosh MSP (Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament) was received by The Queen today.

    The Rt. Hon. Nicola Sturgeon MSP (First Minister of the Scottish Government) was received by Her Majesty.

    The Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KT (Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland) was received by The Queen and reported on the recent proceedings of the General Assembly.

    Mr. Adair Anderson, winner of the annual shooting event of The Queen's Body Guard for Scotland, Royal Company of Archers, was presented to Her Majesty this afternoon and received The Queen's Prize.

    The Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

    The Duke of York, The Earl of Wessex and Forfar and The Princess Royal were present.

    The Queen's Body Guard for Scotland, Royal Company of Archers and the High Constables of the Palace of Holyroodhouse were on duty.

    The Royal Marine Band Scotland, the Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland and the Royal Scottish Pipers' Society played selections of music during the afternoon.
