    The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, later received Mr. Robert Robson at Buckingham Palace upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive Officer and Commodore Adrian Bell RN upon assuming the appointment.

    Her Royal Highness, President, Carers Trust, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Reception followed by Dinner at the Ritz London, 150 Piccadilly, London W1.

    The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Reception given by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the United States of America (His Excellency Sir Kim Darroch) at the residence in Washington DC to celebrate the Four Hundredth Anniversary of the founding of Virginia.
