    His Excellency Mr. Fred Arruda was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Lenice de Almeida Nobrega Arruda was also received by Her Majesty.

    His Excellency Mr. Isselkou Ahmed Izid Bin Neye was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Mariem Sidi Bouna was also received by Her Majesty.

    Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

    Admiral of the Fleet the Lord Boyce was received by The Queen this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath and delivered up to Her Majesty the Insignia of Office.

    Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton was received by The Queen upon his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath when Her Majesty handed to him the Insignia of Office.

    His Royal Highness afterwards visited Exeter College, Hele Road, Exeter, and was received by Mr. Philip Bostok (Deputy Lieutenant of Devon).

    The Duke of York, Founder, [email protected], this afternoon attended [email protected] on Tour Devon, Exeter College, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. David Fursdon).

    His Royal Highness later visited the Innovation Centre, Streatham Campus, University of Exeter, Rennes Drive, Exeter.

    The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Lord de Mauley (Master of the Horse) at the Funeral of Mr. Arthur Showell (formerly Head Coachman, Royal Mews) which was held at Kingston Crematorium, Bonner Hill Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, this afternoon.

    The Prince of Wales was represented by the Earl of Rosslyn.

    The Duke of York was represented by Captain Edward Monckton.

    The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs. William Nunneley.
