Sir Michael Stevens was received by The King today upon relinquishing his appointment as Keeper of the Privy Purse and Treasurer to The King when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

The King was represented by Admiral of the Fleet Sir Benjamin Bathurst at the Memorial Service for Captain Michael Fulford-Dobson (formerly Her late Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset) which was held in Sherborne Abbey, Dorset, this afternoon.
