THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS ISSUED BY THE PRESS SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh will visit Uganda in 2007.

Her Majesty The Queen will open the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Kampala.
