The Prince of Wales attended the London Air Ambulance Charity Gala where he met with crewmembers, former patients and supporters, before delivering a short speech.

In his speech, His Royal Highness thanked the public for their "kind messages of support" for The Princess of Wales and His Majesty The King.

London’s Air Ambulance Charity delivers an advanced trauma team to critically injured people in London every day of the year. The service provides rapid response and cutting-edge medical care for the millions of people who live, work and visit London, bringing the hospital emergency department to the scene of an incident, and delivering life-saving treatment to over 45,000 people since its foundation in 1989.

The Prince of Wales, himself a trained helicopter pilot, became Patron of London’s Air Ambulance Charity in March 2020 after supporting their 30th Anniversary Campaign.
