Lulach (r. 1057-1058)

Lulach, Macbeth's stepson, was born about 1032, the son of Gruoch by her first husband, Gillacomgan, Mormaer of Moray.

He was briefly recognised as king, and was crowned at Scone Abbey, the first recorded coronation of a King of Scots.  However, he was killed by Malcolm Canmore at Essie, Aberdeenshire on 17 March 1058.
