Since 2011, the two charities have worked together to support those experiencing homelessness in the day-to-day life in the public arts centre. The Duke met staff, toured the historic building, and saw the incredible positive impact the organisation is having on the local community.
At Flo’s – The Place in the Park, a community hub which was opened in 2018, The Duke saw firsthand how Flo’s is working to respond to the needs of the local community, including tackling food poverty, hosting community events, and supporting local diversity led social enterprises.
