THE FOLLOWING ANNOUNCEMENT IS ISSUED BY THE COMMUNICATIONS SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN
Her Majesty The Queen has approved the appointment of Mr Mohammed Amal (Kamal) El-Hajji as Serjeant at Arms in the House of Commons in the place of Mr Lawrence Ward, who relinquished the appointment in September 2015.
