As the Games come to a close, I want you to know that you have made the country very proud, you have demonstrated all the values and ethos of the Paralympic movement

Congratulations to you all on your brilliant achievements at the Paralympic Winter Games in Beijing.

We have thoroughly enjoyed watching and cheering you on from home.

Special congratulations, of course, to the all the medallists, but I also want to congratulate everyone who achieved a personal best.

As ever, your determination, courage and spirit has been inspiring.

In recognising your achievements, I also want to thank the whole ParalympicsGB team for their amazing support and commitment.

As the Games come to a close, I want you to know that you have made the country very proud, you have demonstrated all the values and ethos of the Paralympic movement and, without a doubt, have inspired the next generation of Olympians and Paralympians.
