The Queen hosts special guests for a tea party at Clarence House
Published
The Queen has hosted a tea party and treasure hunt for children supported by Dreams and Wishes, a charity dedicated to helping seriously ill children and their families build precious memories.
Having travelled by horse-drawn carriage from The Royal Mews, The Queen welcomed children and their parents supported by Dreams and Wishes charity for a memorable time at Clarence House.
Dreams and Wishes was established in 2011 to support children with life-threatening illnesses and their families by granting wishes, arranging parties, days out and events to create precious memories.
The charity is entirely volunteer-run, with a dedicated team committed to making every child’s wish a reality.
During their time at Clarence House, the children sat down for a tea of treats, including sandwiches, special biscuits, a delicious jelly, and colourful cupcakes.
Following the tea, the children were put to task by a prince and princess-themed quest to find treasure that had been stolen by a wicked wizard who was stopped by two guards at night.
Fortunately, the treasure was found - underneath the Grenadier Guards' hats!
