The King and Queen will visit Antigua and Barbuda, and His Majesty will visit The Bahamas and Guyana

Their Majesties The King and Queen will undertake an Autumn Tour from Tuesday 27th October to Wednesday 4th November 2026. This will include visits to The Bahamas, Guyana and Antigua and Barbuda, as well as attendance at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026.
The programme will reflect themes that are central to The King and Queen's public work, including environmental sustainability, biodiversity, community resilience, youth engagement and the Commonwealth. Across all three countries, Their Majesties will meet community leaders, young people, volunteers and those working to strengthen local communities and protect the natural environment.
The Bahamas
His Majesty's visit to The Bahamas will begin in Nassau, where he will attend a Youth Rally celebrating the contribution of young people to national life. During the visit, The King will also spend time with members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force at Coral Harbour Base and attend engagements highlighting environmental conservation and sustainability.
The programme will also include a sports engagement and a visit to Parliament Square, where His Majesty will meet representatives from across Bahamian society. In addition, The King will hold audiences and attend a Garden Reception, bringing together community leaders and guests from across the country.
Guyana
In Guyana, His Majesty will visit Georgetown, where the programme will reflect both the country's rich natural heritage and its leadership on environmental issues. The King will visit the Commonwealth War Graves and learn about efforts to preserve and celebrate Guyana's history and legacy.
His Majesty will also attend a garden visit and participate in engagements connected to biodiversity and conservation, including the Global Biodiversity Alliance Conference. The programme will provide opportunities to meet representatives from communities and organisations working to protect the natural environment and promote sustainable development.
The King will additionally attend an engagement with the National Toshaos Council, recognising the important contribution of Indigenous communities, before joining a Business Reception celebrating innovation, enterprise and economic partnership. His Majesty will also visit Georgetown's Seawall, a significant landmark for residents and visitors alike.
Antigua and Barbuda
Their Majesties will visit Antigua and Barbuda ahead of CHOGM 2026, with engagements that celebrate the nation's culture, heritage and communities. The King and Queen will attend a Church Service and the country's Independence Day Parade at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, where they will join celebrations marking this important national occasion.
Their Majesties will also visit Government House and take part in a garden visit, while The King's programme will include engagements focused on the natural environment, heritage and sustainable development. These will include a visit highlighting environmental conservation and a meeting with business leaders at the Sticky Wicket Business Forum.
Her Majesty will undertake separate engagements reflecting her longstanding interests, including a visit to the American University and an engagement with a local school.
CHOGM 2026
As Head of the Commonwealth, The King, accompanied by The Queen, will attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Antigua and Barbuda. Their Majesties will participate in the CHOGM Opening Ceremony and attend the CHOGM Dinner alongside leaders from across the Commonwealth.
His Majesty will also host a Reception for New Heads of Government and attend engagements connected to the wider CHOGM programme, while Their Majesties will undertake visits in Antigua and Barbuda that celebrate the country's role as host nation.
The tour will conclude on Wednesday 4th November with Their Majesties' departure from Antigua and Barbuda.
