The Prince's Trust Awards 2019

The 15th annual Prince’s Trust Awards were held at the London Palladium today, recognising outstanding young people from across the UK who have succeeded against hardship with support from the charity.
This year marked the launch of the first Prince’s Trust Global Awards which was jointly awarded to Ahmad Aburumman and Nilam Tambe in recognition of their life-changing journeys achieved with support from The Prince’s Trust Group and its international partners.
Prior to the ceremony The Prince met Prince’s Trust Ambassadors, including the event’s hosts Philip Schofield and Fearne Cotton.
The Prince’s Trust was founded by The Prince of Wales in 1976, using his Navy severance pay to support young people across the UK overcome challenging circumstances and get into employment or launch their own businesses. 42 years later, the charity has helped over 900,000 young people and supports over 100 more each day.
