Walk the Walk runs the MoonWalk - the annual night-time fundraising power walk.

The Prince was treated to a performance by retro girl band the Tootsie Rollers, who gave a rendition of their appropriately titled charity single, Walk The Walk.

Comedian Jennifer Saunders was among the guests gathered at His Royal Highness’s London residence, as was founder of the charity Nina Barough.

Nina started Walk The Walk in 1996 when she and 12 other women power walked the New York City Marathon in their bras to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

Each year thousands take part in its flagship event, MoonWalk London, when participants cover a marathon or half-marathon through the capital in the moonlight wearing bras.

His Royal Highness congratulated the organisation - which is the largest grant-making breast cancer charity in the UK and of which he is Patron - for raising more than £113 million over the last two decades.

The Prince said during the reception: "I don't think Nina ever imagined it would keep going as long as this when it first started.

"It is an astonishing achievement to have raised £113 million and, if I may say so, to have passed so much of it on to the organisations of which I'm patron.

"All I can say is that I hope you have many more years ahead."
